Soccer-For-Bibles is a one day 9-a-side soccer tournament which presents an opportunity for Christians from all denominations in Singapore to participate together in a fund-raising sporting activity that will undoubtedly strengthen ties between churches.
With the aim of raising S$50,000 for Bible distribution locally and in third world countries, Sports Coalition Singapore(SCS) and its partner, Bible Society of Singapore(BSS), will be using the money raised from this event to organise a field trip to Cambodia from 8-12 June 2007 to distribute Bibles to the poor and needy.
This event is organized by Sports Coalition Singapore in partnership with Christian Sports Club, LifeMatters, The Bible Society of Singapore & The Salvation Army.
